The Organization

Internal Medicine Consultants, LLC (IMC) was originally founded in 2001 as a Sole Proprietorship medical practice by Ricardo Febry, MD, an internal medicine-trained specialist with over 19 years of experience providing services across a broad spectrum of levels-of-care that includes preventive, emergency, critical care, long-term care and end-of-life care medicine.

Today, IMC serves the Greater New Orleans region as a hospitalist and long-term care service provider at more than 10 locations, including 1 acute 1 long-term care hospital, 7 self-standing skilled nursing facilities, 3 Assisted Living Facilities, multiple private residences totaling more than 1,000 beds. Our staff includes 3 Internal Medicine specialists, 3 advance practice nurses and support staff.  IMC’s vision is to implement and be the Disease Management Program provider of choice for complex patients in the communities it serves by integrating new remote monitoring technologies with our medical care processes.
